Search feature that takes you right to the word! Whether that means the word is highlighted or at least takes you to the general area of the searched word. I have tons of notes, and when I search the word, it just takes me to the beginning of the actual note. While this is helpful and I know I can find it if I read through everything, it would be wonderful to have it highlighted or at least go right to the area.

Yes agreed, we need to revamp our search function in Opus. Hopefully we will get to this soon, after other high-priority tasks.

Jose, I am not sure what could be a higher priority than searching capability (other than bug fixing, perhaps). Finding information quickly and easily is what makes a good app great!

in search mode make all sections of the app searchable. if looking for the word “opus” for example, the app should not only search task, task notes, events, daily notes. but also new note sections.

Swallace333, there is a separate search function for the notes section! If you go under the “notes” tab (not your own made up note tabs), there is a search feature at the top. My main thing is I would like it to highlight or go right to the word or phrase I searched. I hope this helps!

Bingo- thanks Lisa..your suggestion of highlighting or going directly to the searches for item would greatly enhance the search function

So glad that this is planned! I was wondering if in this planning that handwriting would be searchable? Thank you for all you do!

I am eager to get this feature ASAP. The robust note taking feature in this amazing planner is not very useful if it cannot be searched properly. I agree with others that searching for a key word or phrase should display the exact location on the page that it is on, and highlight the search word/phrase for quick finding. Since it is likely that there are other instances or notes with the same search terms, it should have a forward and reverse arrow to allow the user to go to the next or previous page that has the same search terms included (also displaying the exact location and highlighting any instances of the searched word or phrase). Best example of this feature is how Microsoft One Note search works.

I am looking forward to getting the search function to allow users to find and refer back to notes that they made, which is the whole point of taking notes in the first place. Thank you to the developers for being open to user input and recommendations, and making the best planning app out there. (Now if only I could use this online or on Windows/PC… but that is another post ;)
